。。On July 14， Sinochem Jiangsu and ExxonMobil Asia and Pacific Private Company held jointly a seminar on pitch technology， aiming to strengthen bilateral cooperation in technological application， marketing management and strategic alliance and seek common development. Dr. Sam Maccarrone， pitch technology director of ExxonMobil made a successful presentation on the index test of pitch， road surface design and road functions and polymer pitch technology.

。。More than 30 officials， experts and scholars from Jiangsu Expressway Construction Instruction Department， Road Bureau of the Communication Department， Transportation Planning and Design Institute and Southeastern University are invited to the seminar.

。。Sinochem Jiangsu and ExxonMobil enjoy sound business relations. In particular， in 2001 both sides have conducted deep cooperation and close exchanges and as a result Sinochem Jiangsu was selected as ExxonMobil’s distributor in Jiangsu province which has a big demand for imported pitch. Since the beginning of 2004， making full use of the geological advantages， Sinochem Jiangsu has been actively exploring new business areas. By participating in tendering it has sold more than 40， 000 tons of pitch to Jiangsu Expressway Construction Instruction Department and Suzhou Municipal Expressway Construction Instruction Department. As a major partner of ExxonMobil in Jiangsu province， Sinochem Jiangsu has received great support in terms of pitch technology and marketing strategy from Singapore ExxonMobil Asia & Pacific Company.
